Due to the fact that we cannot allow open braai (barbecue) fires at the chalets, gas braai facilities are available. Booking for gas braais are essential. Those guests wishing to bring their own gas braai equipment are welcome to do so. We also have the open fire braais for guests located near the pool.
Climate · Summer - the temperature varies from 15 degrees at night to 35 degrees C in the heat of the day and with the average daily thundershowers.
· Winter - the temperature varies from night to day. Daytime temperatures are mild normally about 15 degrees C. Night time temperatures are considerably colder dropping to below 02 degrees C. Temperatures drop dramatically just after sunset.
What to take October to April, summer clothes, a warm jacket or jersey for the cooler mornings and evenings.
May to September, winter clothes. A very warm insulated Jacket for the cold morning and nights. Hats, scarf and gloves are recommended. Comfortable walking shoes track shoes or boots are useful for the hiking trails. Sandals are useful for walking around the resort.
