The Amakhaya Golf Lodge is situated idyllically sited fairly close to the white sand beaches Hout Bay & Llandundo and has spectacular and awesome views of the Chapman’s peak, the mountains, the bay and the sea beyond (Atlantic Ocean).
The Lodge is the only guesthouse in South Africa which offers own Golf practice facilities such as putting greens, chipping pats, net for drives, a bunker.
We offer you the perfect starting point for Sight Seeing, Golf & relaxation (Central City of Cape Town 20 min driving time along the stunning coast road below the 12 Apostel, 20 golf courses are reachable from 20 to 60 min). You can relax in a comfortable, private & peaceful environment. The Dohrmanns take delight in assisting you to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The lodge
Amakhaya Golf Lodge offers guests a choice between five different types of rooms/ suites. It has three luxury suites as well as the Buffalo Studio and the Three Sisters Cottage (both can be used as self-contained units, max. 4 people). The Lodge offers you every comfort in a relaxed, private & peaceful environment. Our rooms have been individually decorated in an African style. The Rooms / Units are tastefully decorated en suite with their private bathrooms, TV, DVD, CD, MP3, Minibar, Safe, Linen, Towels, Beach Towels, bath robe, hair dryer, Access to Pool (salt water) & Golf practice facilities, Access to Lounge with TV (DSTV, German TV), DVD and Computer with 24 Internet Access. Extra for the self catering units are fully equipped kitchens (e.g. Dishwasher, Fridge, Freezer), private terrace or garden.

Breakfast
At the Amakhaya Golf Lodge you start with a world-class breakfast. We offer a true full breakfast to kick-start a jam packed day. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Specials can be arranged.
Hout Bay
Situated in the heart of Hout Bay offers the lodge easy access to the village, beaches and major routes. Other than hiking, sailing, surfing, kayaking, fishing, cycling, having a picnic or walking along the long stretch of beach, there is not much one can't do in Hout Bay. The scenic Chapman's Peak Drive, the harbour, the bird park and Seal Island are all also right on Hout Bay’s doorstep.
