Things to do Fish Hoek is well positioned and has many of the popular attractions on its doorstep. The safe, white Fish Hoek beach is within walking distance from the apartments and many of the other best Cape beaches are only a 10-minute drive away. Mountain walks and hikes begin only 5 minutes away and it is 30 minutes to Cape Town centre, the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain.
The area has good shopping facilities in Fish Hoek and at Long Beach Mall in addition to the unique galleries, antiques and crafts shops of Kalk Bay and Simonstown.
Visitors are always welcome at the Clovelly golf course, one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Cape region and scuba diving, mountain biking and fishing are all activities available close by. Restaurants are many and varied, catering to all tastes and pockets.
Table Mountain
Table Mountain is the city’s most famous and popular landmark. The summit can be reached by cable car or hiking trails and visitors are treated to spectacular views of the Peninsula. The mountain is rich in indigenous flora (fynbos) and walkers or hikers can enjoy the various routes on its slopes.
The revolving cable car is the quickest and easiest way to the summit. Have a champagne picnic or drinks at the restaurant while watching the sun set is an experience never to be forgotten.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens
Set on the lower slopes of Table Mountain in Newlands, Kirstenbosch is one of the world's greatest botanical gardens with over 5000 species of Cape indigenous vegetation (fynbos) in the gardens and green houses. Sculptures and art are also displayed in the reception areas and amongst the plants. Take a picnic basket and enjoy the wonderful gardens and open air concerts in the summer season.

Robben Island
Robben Island is internationally known as the prison where former South African president Nelson Mandela was held for more than 20 years. It is now possible to visit the island, a major attraction, with boats leaving the V&A Waterfront at regular intervals. Visitors to the island can experience its natural fauna and flora as well as take guided tours with former political prisoners of the prison and museum.

Winelands
The Constantia wine route is a short drive from the apartments. The five producers making up the wine region are big in quality, rich in history and boast a unique terrain.
The valley is seen as a benchmark of SA wine, identified in top-of-mind awareness as one of the fine wine regions outside Europe. The significant awards garnered by the route over the last decade are testimony to the quality and consistently high standard of the wines.
Further a field are the wine farms of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. You can plan a self-drive tour of the various estates or take one of the many organised tours.

Cape Point, the meeting place of the Indian & Atlantic Oceans is a short drive along the scenic coast road through historic Simonstown. On the way back, stop off at Boulders Beach for a swim and to visit the Jackass penguin reserve.
Beaches Close to Amazing Whale
FISH HOEK BEACH is the safest swimming beach in the Cape and is ideal for sailing, sunbathing, boogie boarding and family fun. At one end is a restaurant and ice-cream bar, children’s playground, bench seats and plenty of people. At the other end are the boogie boarders, dog owners and solitary sunbathers.
BOULDERS is Cape Town's most popular beach and is well known for its colony of jackass penguins. Extremely pretty, the sandy beach takes its name from the many huge boulders, which form many natural sea pools.
MUIZENBERG has one of the longest beaches in the world and appears to go on forever. The beach is a popular place for learner surfers and boogie-boarders and is safe for swimming.
SEAFORTH is considered Cape Town's best swimming beach - clear, deep water, an excellent seaside restaurant and green lawns shaded by palm trees.
NOORDHOEK BEACH is a gorgeous 8 kilometre curve of fine white sand. It is a wide beach with plenty of space for flying kites, horse riding, jogging and just walking. The cold Atlantic water makes it popular with serious surfers.
PLATBOOMBAY in the CAPE OF GOOD HOPE NATURE RESERVE is a long unspoilt beach, which is great for beachcombing and exploring rock pools. The surrounding dunes and rocky slopes are covered with fynbos. For bird watchers - black oystercatchers, avocets and brilliant coloured sunbirds are common.
