Situated on the banks of a tranquil river, surrounded by River Bushwillow (Combretum Erythrophyllum) trees, you can enjoy the sounds of over 40 species of Birdlife. The perfect Venue for the Corporate Market's Conferencing or Teambuilding, as well as for Family get-aways and Holiday Makers.
A beautifully hand crafted double story construction offers luxurious 13 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. These units have rustic and tastefully finished woodwork, radiating the scent of Africa - an ideal place to unwind! Our V.I.P honeymoon suite is a unique creation, with large veranda, under thatch and overlooking the lush bush. A truly unforgettable stay!
Bushveld Lodge also has 35 luxury units, with 100 beds, fully equipped, each with it's own wooden deck, TV, ceiling fan and braai facilities. These units are serviced daily by our friendly and well trained staff. Breakfasts are served in the picturesque restaurant on the riverbank, under a canopy of indigenous trees.
Evening dining is an experience with the nocturnal sounds, trickling water, under a million stars! We have a lovely pool to cool of in those hot summer days. We also cater for a variety of functions - weddings in the thatch lapa, businesses or private functions. All guests can be accommodated at Bushveld Lodge where they will experience an unforgettable stay!

A wholesome English breakfast sees you off to a good start on a scenic drive to many of the local attractions such as 30 minutes to the famous Kruger National Park (where you can find the "Big 5" - Elephant, Rhinoceros, Buffalo, Leopard and Lion). Other famous tourist attractions include God's Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Pilgrims Rest, blyde River Canyon and Sudwala Caves.
Do your shopping at the Riverside Mall or Crossings Centre, take a walk in the lovely Nelspruit Botanical Gardens or Croc River Reptile Park. Nelspruit also has nightlife entertainment such as various Restaurants, Movies and the Emnotweni Casino.
Owner, Mr Tony van Eijk, established Bushveld Lodge in 1994, when there were only two historic Hotels in Nelspruit. With a growing need for accommodation and conference facilities, he constructed two Lodges - Bushveld Lodge (executive Lodge with luxurious hand crafted rustic Chalets, as well as 35 luxury units) from nothingness and Lakeview Lodge (70 Stand Caravan Park, Cottages and Holiday Houses) on a small holding with Historic houses. Both Lodges have a Restaurant where Breakfasts and Dinners are served in a lovely ambience.

Lakeview Lodge has a 70 stand Caravan Park, Cottages, Holiday Houses and a Restaurant, which offers an ideal stay for overnight or a family holiday. Country hospitality on the Nelsloop river with fully equipped, self-catering cottages - a haven of peace and quiet.
Abundant bird life, in natural vegetation, sparkling pool and terrace Restaurant with a glorious view, serving a hearty breakfast and sumptuous dinner (on request). Bar facilities also available.
