Chandelier Game Lodge & Ostrich Show Farm, is situated between the lush green Garden Route and the wide-open spaces of the Klein (Little) Karoo with the Outeniqua and Swartberg mountain ranges as backdrop. Chandelier is easily accessible, next to the N12 (Route 62) and is an ideal base from which to explore the “Garden of Eden” of the Garden Route as well as the rich diversity of the Klein Karoo and Route 62. The lodge is 7 km from Oudtshoorn and 48 km from George and the George Airport (Transfers available from George Airport, on request). If you are looking for an oasis to get away from it all, Chandelier is the place to be. Accommodation
A unique feature of Chandelier is our luxury en suite tented accommodation. The tented chalets offer a unique bush experience – quality is in the detail. The chalets are placed on wooden decks, over the water, in the bush. Great care has been taken to assure privacy and unique views. Each en suite unit has a private observation deck from where guests can spot various game species on their way to the water hole. The lodge sleeps 16 people in eight private chalets equipped with white linen and velvet, as well as corner or spa baths and air conditioning or fans. The stylish décor creates superb luxury, under the canopy of the acacia trees. The showers, with only the stars as roofs, are something to experience. Guests are woken every morning with the beauty of birdsong. No wonder that the chalets have been approved as four stars (we have decided to go with three stars, though) and that the popular DRIVE OUT magazine has rated the accommodation as "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED", lately. Children are welcome and up to two small kids may share with their parents. “Get wild in Style!”
The thatched, fully equipped self catering unit sleeps eight. The unit consists of four bedrooms (1 x double and 3 x twins) with two gas operated showers and battery operated lights. An outdoor braai (lapa), with fire wood supplied, is available for guests. (Guests are welcome to have their meals at the restaurant)

Quad Bikes
One of the attractions at Chandelier is the “one of a kind” guided quad bike safaris. The animals at Chandelier adapted very well to the quad bikes. Since the quads are small and no threat to them, they allow the quads in their environment. We have twelve quad bikes and do one and two hour, guided tours. In addition to superb game viewing, the quads make you feel independent and bring you very close to nature.
Restaurant
Chandelier is very fortunate to have the “Kings Mask Restaurant” to our disposure. The restaurant, with an elegant African atmosphere, sits 140 people in total and also caters for weddings and functions.
The “Kings Mask” specializes in traditional South African cuisine, with the emphasis on superb ostrich and venison dishes. Bookings are essential.
Various bush venues for “sundowner tours” and bush braais (barbeques) are available on Chandelier.
Conference and Team Building
The Chandelier Bush Camp, sleeps up to 60 people, is ideal for team building for the bigger groups. The very basic accommodation is also available for school groups etc. We combine the team building with a seminar, if requested. We tailor made each conference and team building according to the demand.
