Jock Safari Lodge is set in the Jock of the Bushveld in the southern area of the Kruger National Park. It is situated halfway between Malelane & Skukuza and only approximately 458km (284.6 miles) from Johannesburg and its airport. We can offer a scheduled fly in service.
Jock Safari Lodges theme is set by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick's animal classic 'Jock Of The Bushveld, a story written at the time of South Africa's first gold rush.

Your expectations of comfort and quality will be exceeded at Jock Safari Lodge. 12 Luxury air conditioned suites offer guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness.
Each suite has a private “Sala” (outdoor lounge) that overlooks the river. The romantic bathrooms and outdoor showers share the same river view and sightings of animals, including the BIG FIVE can be seen from the comfort & privacy of your own room. Each suite has a King size bed surrounded by walk-in mosquito netting, a small lounge and twin basin bathroom.
Your private terrace has its own plunge pool and a wooden walkway to a lapa overlooking the riverbed.

Pilgrim’s Rest, named after the quaint historical mining town featured so prominently in “Jock of the Bushveld” and still in existence today, was a place to rest, rejuvenate and restock. So too is the Spa, destined to become a jewel in the Mantis Spa Collection.
Overlooking the haven of a serenity garden, it is fully equipped with therapy and relaxation rooms, hydrotherapy bath, steam room and sauna. Therapies are also available in the relaxed atmosphere of one’s own room.At “Pilgrim’s Rest” the need for both physical and psychological well-being is understood. Each treatment has been developed to revive, rejuvenate and restore the skin together with rebalancing mind, body and spirit. Highly qualified therapists will design a treatment programme to ensure deep relaxation and induce inner and outer harmony
