centre of historic Stellenbosch.
At the end of a quiet and leafy cul-de-sac, you will find the cool, shuttered façade of Villa Grande. This elegant renovated 1920s villa offers a serene retreat within easy walking distance of the diverse attractions this vibrant university town has to offer. It’s also the perfect base from which to explore the many attractions of the winelands. Centrally located, it is convenient for business people too.
Our Rooms
At Villa Grande Guest House an eclectic décor style lends individual charm to each of the 10 en suite bedrooms and our Honeymoon Suite which has its own private entrance. One of our African-inspired rooms, have their own fireplace and jacuzzi bath.
In the evening, we deliver complimentary port and water trays for you to enjoy in the luxury of your room. Our room service is available until 22h00 daily.
All rooms are equipped with direct dialing telephone, television, hairdryers, heating and alarm clocks.

The warm and stylish ambience of the lounge makes for the perfect place to relax over a cup of coffee and the newspaper, or unwind with tea and a book. Drinks at the fireplace before dinner will help you work up an appetite for the delectable fare which awaits you in our restaurant, Niel @ Villa Grande.
We will gladly assist you in planning your day/ arrange transfers, wine
tours, rental cars/ make restaurant reservations.

Restaurant
Very special breakfasts (some say the best in the winelands), served on the
terrace under the shade of two ancient oak trees, are a lovely way to start your day.
Light lunches and tea with freshly baked scones are served
on the terrace during the day.
Intimate dining by candlelight is a wonderful way to end your day. The menu at our
restaurant, Niel @ Villa Grande, features creative cuisine that is a visual feast, as
pleasing to the eye as to the palate. And if you feel like dining out, there are many
excellent restaurants in the vicinity.
