Location
Jacobsbaai, known as “The Namaqualand” of the Cape Atlantic West Coast of South Africa, is situated between Saldanha Bay and Vredenburg, just a leisurely hour and thirty minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.
Accomodation
Our three Apartments, which all have stunning Sea Views, are superbly furnished and stylishly decorated, each with a separate entrance and entertainment area, to ensure privacy. The Bryde’s Whale and Humpback Apartments each sleep 4 persons and the Southern Right Apartment sleeps 2 persons. REGRETTABLY ONLY CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF 14 YRS, NO PETS ALLOWED.
All Apartments are spacious, stylishly furnished and decorated, each with there own comfortable Lounge, Dining Room and fully equipped Kitchen with modern appliances. All three Apartments have dishwashers.
The Bedrooms, are superbly furnished, with either, King size, Queen or Twin Beds, depending on the Apartment of choice (all with 100% pure cotton percale linen, down pillows and duvets).
The Bryde’s Whale Unit has 2 en-suite bathrooms with heated towel rails, pentagonal showers, modern baths, toilets, double washbasins with vanities. The Humpback Whale Apartment has one bathroom, with modern bath, pentagonal shower, toilet and heated towel rails. The Southern Right Apartment has a pentagonal shower, vanity, heated towel rail and toilet only.
Activities
Our central location is ideal for facinating day trips to everything that the West Coast has on offer, such as its great natural unspoilt beauty with its rugged coastline, quaint fishing villages, Wine Estates and Nature Reserves, as well as historical Fossil Parks.
Within close proximaty, are numerous hiking trails, bay cruises, fishing charters, water sports (including kyaking, surfing, canoeing, windsurfing,and swimming). Horse riding centres and a choice of three Golf courses. Club Mykonos and Casino. Numerous indoor and outdoor restuarants. Whale watching and the world renowned Namaqualand wild flowers (in Spring).
Or you can just relax, take long walks on unspoilt, pristine beaches, savour good South African wines and enjoy fine sea foods as you watch a spectacular sunset over the Atlantic ocean!
