Situated on Marine Drive just 15km from all the main Port Elizabeth beachfront attractions, The Willows is the ideal spot to use as "home base" for your excursions. Our stringent access control and 24-hour security allows our visitors to lock up their caravans and cottages for the day and explore, without having to worry about the safety of their possessions.
Conferencing
The Willows Conference Centre provides a wide variety of different venues and packages. The Main Hall can accommodate up to 300 guests and is ideal for Wedding Receptions, Conferences and Events. The smaller venue, the Function Room, can seat up to a maximum of 80 guests and extends onto a Verandha that overlooks the ocean. This venue is normally used for intimate conferences, corporate functions and birthday celebrations. The Centre can also provide an outside entertainment area, a cash bar and catering.
Our packages include wedding receptions, conferences and other celebrations or meetings. These packages are inclusive of meals, venue charges, standard conference equipment as well as draping and decorations for weddings and celebrations.
We also provide catering for groups such as sports tournaments and can arrange team building events.
The option of venue hire only is also available.
Accommodation
Single Rondavel
Nestled on the slopes leading down to the Indian Ocean, our cosy single rondavels can accommodate 2 people sharing a double bed. The bathroom has a shower and the kitchen is equipped for 2, as well as a 2 plate stove, fridge and microwave oven. Each rondavel has its own braai area. 6 Units available.
Double Rondavel
The double rondavels overlook the ocean and can accommodate up to 5 people with a double bed in the main bedroom and 3 single beds in the adjoining room cum lounge area. The dining room seats 5 comfortably. The kitchen is equipped for 5 people and has a 2 plate stove, fridge and microwave. The bathrooms have a shower and each rondavel has its own braai area. 13 Units available.
Ethnic Rondavel
Enjoy the uniqueness of our ethnic rondavels complete with traditional African décor. Enjoy the benefit of a cosy indoor braai area with a magnificent sea view. One of the rondavels has a relaxing spa bath whilst the others have a shower. They are adequately equipped for 5 guests. 4 Units available.
Two Bedroom Cottages
Our modern bright chalets accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the open plan lounge/kitchen, indoor and outdoor braai areas. The bathrooms in these units contain baths and the kitchens are comfortably equipped for 4 guests. 2 Units available for booking.
Three Bedroom Cottages
Our modern 3 bedroom cottages sleep 6 people - a double bed in the main bedroom and a double bunk in each of the other 2 bedrooms make these units the perfect choice for larger families or groups. The kitchens are well equipped with a stove, microwave and fridge, with showers in all bathrooms. 2 Units available.
One Bedroom Chalet
The extremely popular one bedroom chalets are very close to the beach - you cam almost catch “that big one” from your verandah! A double bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the lounge sleeps 3 people. The kitchen is equipped with a 2 plate stove, microwave oven and fridge. Each of the 6 units has a braai on the verandah.
Two and Three Bedroom Chalets
These basic chalets accommodate 4 and 6 people respectively. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second and third bedrooms a bunk bed each. All the bathrooms in the chalets have showers. The kitchens are fully equipped for 4 or 6 guests and have microwave ovens in all of the units (6 each)
Dormitories
Situated approximately 3kms away from the main Resort, the Dormitories at the Willows cater for sports groups, church groups and schools. 1 x 12 sleeper with kitchen and 2 x 12 sleepers with no kitchens available. Dormitories are not supplied with bedding.
Caravan Sites
The Caravan Park is made up of 74 sites, and is situated on prime coastal land a few steps from the beach. The spacious sites are all grassed and offer electrical power points, running water, braai facilities and refuse bins. 12 individual sites situated in the heart of the main Resort are also available for booking. Each and every site has its own lockable ablution block and scullery area and has proved to be extremely popular with visitors.
